Rule 114
Reconciliation Committee
(1) There will be a conciliation committee in the court to carry out the work of resolving disputes through conciliation in the court in an orderly manner.
(2) The constitution of the committee as per sub-rule (1) shall be as follows:-
(a) Judges of Courts designated by the Chief Justice – Chairman
(b) Other Judges of the Court appointed by the Chief Justice as necessary. (c) Chief Registrar – Member (d) Registrar – Member (e) President, Supreme Court Bar Association – Member (f) Sub-Registrar of Courts designated by the Chief Registrar -Member-Secretary (3) The work, duties and rights of the committee under sub-rule (1) shall be as follows:-
(a) to prescribe policies necessary to encourage the settlement of disputes by conciliation; (b) to keep up to date the list of conciliators,
(c) To monitor the conciliation work done by the court and subordinate courts,
(d) Publishing resource material on reconciliation,
(e) To do other necessary work related to reconciliation.
